We are proud to announce that the UC San Diego Theatre District Living and Learning Neighborhood in La Jolla, CA won a merit award in the 2021 AIA|LA Next LA Awards Program.
Executed in partnership with Kitchell, HKS and SWA Landscape, the Design-Build project provides residential life and administrative space for a new college with approximately 2,000 undergraduate beds, classrooms, underground parking, conference- and retail space. The project presents a transformational opportunity for the campus to nurture a collaborative and interdisciplinary community that will encourage collaboration, leadership, and innovation.
Located on a 10.9-acre site, the project broke ground early summer and is scheduled to complete in the fall of 2023.
