EYRC 3D PRINTING PPE TO COMBAT COVID-19

RESPONSE TO CRITICAL NEED FOR PPE

EYRC has joined 80+ architecture firms who are 3D printing face guards and components for N95 masks, an initiative spearheaded by Alvin Huang and USC through the Keck School of Medicine. This effort, recently endorsed by Mayor Garcetti, is in an effort to help the crucial need for personal protective equipment at local hospitals to treat patients with COVID-19. EYRC has eight 3D printers functioning in our homes around Los Angeles printing components which will be delivered to USC for them to assemble and allocate to local hospitals. If there are more firms who wish to take part please fill out the AIALA’s survey on capacity and equipment which can be found here.
