EYRC CELEBRATES THE CULVER STEPS GROUND BREAKING

Ground has officially broken for The Culver Steps!

The new 115,000 sf mixed-use project in the heart of Culver City, CA, was planned by Hackman Capital Partners and designed by Ehrlich Yanai Rhee Chaney Architects.

Adjacent to multiple historic and iconic structures, the project will incorporate architectural elements that are instantly recognizable and build on the City's identity as a place of entertainment, history, and pedestrian-centered activity. The program includes ground-level retail, a four-story office building, and a Grand Stair that leads pedestrians up to a restaurant pavilion and landscaped Elevated Plaza perched above the existing Town Square.

The project has been long anticipated - the groundbreaking event was attended not only by Culver City Mayor Jeffrey Cooper, but also by his two predecessors, former Mayors Jim Clarke and Andrew Weissman. Vice Mayor Thomas Small and City Council member Göran Eriksson were also in attendance, as were Community Development Director Sol Blumenfeld and City Manager John Nachbar.
